“Kin” star/director/producer/producing partner Michael Stuhlbarg says the sequel to his acclaimed hit comedy will be different from the original.
“There’s a whole different vibe in ‘Kin,’ but the biggest difference is that we’re making a sequel to ‘Kin,'” he told Entertainment Weekly.
“We’re not just doing another film.
It’s a new thing.
It will be a new movie.
We’re making it different.”
Stuhlborg also teased some new characters to the upcoming sequel.
“There’s this character named The Kid,” he teased.
“He’s a young, funny guy, and he’s a real life friend of mine.
He’s got a funny story about getting hit in the head with a baseball bat and then having to go into a hospital and be put in a coma.”

“We’re in negotiations right now with Netflix and they’re really excited about the Kinverse,” he said.
“They’re really interested in doing a TV series and they’d be really excited to be involved with us doing it.”
