Memphis Grizzlies All-Star Manu GINOBILI has signed a new five-year contract extension with Memphis, it was announced today by the team’s chairman and CEO, David Kaplan.
The deal is worth $85 million and will keep Ginobilli with the Grizzlies for the next five years.
Ginobili, 32, has been one of the league’s most dominant players and a top-10 scorer in recent seasons.
The three-time NBA MVP led the league in scoring and assists for the third straight season in 2015-16 and has been an All-NBA selection four times.
He is a six-time All-Defensive team selection and has won three consecutive titles with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Grizzlies’ owner, Robert Pera, previously announced that he planned to retire at the end of the 2018-19 season.
