By now, you’ve probably heard about the Apollo 11 coins that were issued in 2001.
That’s when NASA sent the astronauts a handful of coins to commemorate the historic landing of the Apollo spacecraft on the moon.
Since then, they’ve become a collector’s item for a variety of collectors, but some are hoping to collect them on eBay.
Now, they are.
On Saturday, NASA released the coins and sent them out to eBay, along with the following instructions for anyone interested in purchasing one of the coins:1.
Make sure you have the appropriate space to store your coin(s).
If you don’t have enough space, just use a card or wallet and store it somewhere safe.2.
Go to this link and select your coin from the dropdown menu.3.
After selecting your coin, click on the “Buy Now” button.4.
After the coin has been purchased, you will be able to view the purchase history for the coin, along in the upper right-hand corner.5.
After you click “Submit,” your coins will be processed.
